To hear Elvis Presley's first guitarist (played on all those great Sun recordings and the early RCA rock classics) was an opportunity too good to miss. And, while it was a real thrill to see him, shake his hand and say 'Thanks' to him, it was a bit of a strange gig to say the least; he simply would not speak to the audience. Perhaps he really is that shy, but he got his wife to come out and talk to the audience in between songs. Very strange. x
