This was the second time I saw Chicago in concert. I'm pretty sure this was the show that I went backstage after the concert and met some of the band. Bill Champlin was there and I made a comment about a single he had on a movie soundtrack. He seemed a bit annoyed and made some comment about the record company. I can't remember the details. I got to meet the trombone player too and he was nice. I remember him telling me that the reason the show was good, was because the audience was so good. He said without that energy, their show wouldn't have been as enjoyable. I appreciate that comment and I think it's very true.
