This exuberant band were: Tamsin Elliott flute/accordion/whistle/backing vocal, Rowen Elliott violin, Alex Dickinson guitar, Henry Edmonds double bass/bass guitar, Elio Arauz de Marcos drums/percussion/vocal. There were only one or two actual vocals, the numbers being mainly instrumentals. It’s difficult to describe the music because it seemed such a mishmash of everything – I was able to detect elements of polka, klezmer, tango, flamenco. It seemed to work and had a lot of life. Attractive rhythms. High standard of musicianship too.
