Opus 20 Quartet, National Theatre, London (GB) - 1988

The music was part of a performance of The Tempest by Shakespeare in the Olivier Theatre at the National Theatre on the South Bank. The quartet were Christopher Tombling violin, Ann Morfee violin, Andrew Byrt viola and Ingrid Perrin cello, together with Martin Allen percussion/director, Philip Alexander wind and Colin Rae trumpet. Composer Harrison Birtwistle. The role of Prospero was taken by Michael Bryant. Great performance.
