Tawiah is a soul-type singer, contemporary, and her songs (written and produced by herself and Sam Beste) have interesting melodies, textures and rhythmic figures and most of them are quite slow. A really striking voice. She operated the electronics and also played guitar and her brother came on to do the rap on Knock Down Ginger. Another piece was Queens. Altogether an enjoyable and refreshing set.
