Zydeco music from Louisiana. Queen Ida sang (mostly if not completely in French) and played accordion. The repertoire was typical: songs reflecting a hybrid of r’n’b, blues, cajun and country, probably with Caribbean influence. The band members are uncertain but her touring band about this time consisted of Al Rapone guitar/vocal, Don Nick bs guitar, Gregory DePew drums and Wilbert Lewis percussion. The year may possibly have been 1980.
