Lester Bowie's Brass Fantasy, Royal Festival Hall, London (GB) - 9 juin 1988

Lester Bowie, trumpet/flugelhorn, led this band of four trumpets, two trombones, french horn, tuba and drums. They played quite a number of popular tunes and this to a degree belied Bowie’s seriously modernist credentials from the 1960s. Interesting stuff, irreverent moments.
