At this time Pete Seeger, singer, guitarist and banjo player, was very popular and his brand of committed folk music appealed to many middle class would-be radicals. He played his own composition Where Have All the Flowers Gone together with older Woody Guthrie-type songs and his recent hit Little Boxes. Also the Cuban song Guantanamera. Rather quaint even then - times were already a-changing.
