Newer band (Coal Chamber) and older band (Type O) who both put on good shows, yet in completely different ways. Coal Chamber had a lot of energy and freshness at the time, and the crowd was getting off on it. On the other hand, Type O Negative were the elder statesmen for the evening, and they showed a level of musicianship and integrity that the crowd really appreciated as well. They didn't need gimmicks or thrash to envelop the audience in dark tribal worship. The openers at this show also had nice pits going, but more for the sake of camraderie rather than band appreciation.
