By the time I graduated high school in '81 I had been to almost 30 concerts... some of which included: Blue Oyster Cult (3xs), Jethro Tull, Molley Hatchet, Heart & Bob Seger. Penn Jam 79 ranks towards the top of one of the best concert experiences I ever had. Awesome music + good friends = lifelong memories! - Scott DeWitt

Slept in a tent outside the raceway to get in early. Rained that night, we woke up in a puddle of water! Pitching our tent in a drainage ditch was not a smart choice but considering the amount of alcohol consumed, I'm surprised we could even pitch a tent! LOL Ted Rocks!

We had a blast... Took a beer ball in with no problem. I had trouble hearing days after, but all worth it. I finally fessed up to my mom 10 years later that I took her antique quilt and left it there because it was too muddy!

My first outdoor concert. My sister’s boyfriend invested with promoter Richard A. Cohen and got back stage passes that included a bunch of blow. I was 16 and having the time of my life. Uncle Ted was epic!

I was 19 at the time living in Bloomfield NJ. My douche bag friends and I thought it would be cool to drive to the pocono's to see Nugent and Blackfoot. The other bands we could care less about. I'm sure we were pretty wasted and I remember it sounded really good. I moved to California a month later. I've seen hundreds of concerts since then including uncle Ted in Ventura a few years ago. Pocono downs jam was an intense experience. I call it my Woodstock. Crazy Bernie

My wife was 7 months pregnant with our first daughter, Harmony. Melody was born 2 years later. My wife also had a broken heel and she was using crutches. If I remember correctly, Falcon Eddy was a no show....I might be wrong though. I do remember that Frank Marino and his band were amazing and very tight! Edgar Winter took a long time for his sound check and had song endings that were like 2 minutes long. All in all, a good show!
