August 25, day before my birthday. I was working for Bill Graham doing concert security and Shoreline Amphitheater was my primary venue, as I worked venues around the southern half of the bay area from S.F to Oakland and points south to San Jose.
I put in a request for half priced tickets for the Moody Blues on that day. I was given TWO FREE tickets for row P section 102. Right smack dab in the middle. Bill Graham said "Happy Birthday!" Perfect view at eye level.
