A British - Brazilian singer whose cites her main influences as Bossa Nova and 1960's folk singers . This is an interesting and enjoyable mix . Highly competent singer songwriter with a very very talented band . A concert albeit too short shows that there is much more to investigate in terms of her recorded material .
To give more of a flavour to the music when I spoke to her about her influences she cited Carlos Jobim and in terms of 60's folk Bridget St John , Vashti Bunyan and Nick Drake .
