National Jazz Archive Fundraiser: Tomorrow's Warriors : Gary Crosby Sextet, Loughton Methodist Church, London (GB) - Oct 21, 2023

Crosby, founder way back of Tomorrow’s Warriors, the cradle of so many good musicians over the years, brought this young group to present a programme based on the Charles Mingus album Mingus Moves. Crosby was the double bassist of course and the others were: Mark Kavuma trumpet, Aleksandra Topscewska alto sax/flute, David Kayode tenor sax, Alex Ho piano, Daniel Smithson drums. A quality gig with fine playing from all, individually and collectively. A pleasure.
