Armored Saint KILLED it, as usual. In fact, I’ve never seen a bad performance by them, but WASP didn’t live up to the hype. Their sound was muddy-as-fuck and everything was backlit through a super-dense cloud from the fog machine. It was nearly impossible to see Blackie due to the lighting and fog, and my buddy is >90% certain he was lip-syncing. I hadn’t seen WASP since the Helldorado tour and was really looking forward to this show, but they were nowhere near living up to the expectation.
