Rammstein, Newcastle telewest arena, Newcastle Upon Tyne (GB) - Feb 29, 2012

This was one of the worst experiences of my life. Racked with pain, I sat in Newcastle's Telewest Arena as Rammstein made such an awful racket, the sound system was so poor, and the arena built virtually entirely in aluminium it seemed, I had to leave the concert after 30 minutes. My friend, who had taken me there in my wheelchair, and had looked forward to seeing them for a long time, was not impressed. So I can't tell you what Rammstein were like, except there was a lot of loud noise, and a lot of fiery, explosive devices being let off, which made the arena very warm indeed, to say the least. As a visual spectacle, I'm sure it was great, but aurally? Shite. x
