The singers were Valerie Murray, Janet O’Neill, Clare Pemberton, Païvi Payne, Gaynor Lintott & Paula Lane, director Patricia Hooper. Instrumentalists were Danielle Perrett harp & Jenny Gregory organ. The performance was for the Old Bexley Music Society. The programme consisted of Holst’s Choral Hymns from the Rig Veda, a selection of sacred songs and carols, Fauré’s Messe Basse, Sophie Dussek’s Sonata in D Minor for Harp and Britten’s A Ceremony of Carols.
