ZHL String Ensemble/David Kenedy, 77 Kidbrooke Grove, Blackheath, London (GB) - Apr 11, 2015

This was a private performance to support charities. ZHL String Ensemble here were two violinists (leader Jim Huang) and, working the audience, they played well-known classical pieces in bravura fashion. David Kenedy, a cellist, on the staff at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music & Dance, played classical pieces with support from members of his family on piano and violin. They played Falla’s Seven Spanish Songs and Kol Nidrei by Bruch was the standout - very moving.
