Jiménez accordion/vocal, Rowan guitar/vocal. The former’s music is in the Texan norteño tradition and the latter plays country/bluegrass, yodelling as well as singing. The Balham Alligators, a cajun-influenced band, I think actually backed them at this gig rather than were just support. They probably were Geraint Watkins vocal/accordion, Robin McKidd fiddle/guitar, Gary Rickard guitar, Pete Dennis bs guitar and Kieran O’Connor drums. It’s just possible this gig was in 1986.
