Puppini Sisters, South Bank, London (GB) - 2006

Stumbled upon one day in the mid-2000s on the South Bank, singers/dancers with an exciting band in the 1940s/50s pop/swing/R&B style, modelled on the Andrews Sisters. A touch of burlesque. The singers were Marcella Puppini, Kate Mullins and probably Stephanie O'Brien. The band may have included Blake Wilner guitar, Henrik Jensen double bass and Peter Ibbetson drums.
