Luis Bravo created this show, Forever Tango, a series of tangos that illustrated the contextual range in which tango has been performed. So, Buenos Aires 1880 provided a snapshot of early tango, Mayoral & Elsa Marie danced it ballroom-style and Comme Il Faut, danced by Mina & Roberto Reis, showed how it was when it became the rage in Paris in the 1910s. Felicia was danced by Carlos Borquez & Ines. There was a fine tango orchestra. The show skilfully recreated the atmosphere of this genre and sustained the overall feeling of eroticism, fatalism, the dark side of relationships and society. Terrific.
