Rage Against The Machine, Starplex, Dallas (US) - Sep 5, 1997

At first I was disappointed that Wu Tang dropped out right before this show but now I'm grateful to have started my lifelong love affair with The Roots. Dallas people may not believe this but back in the day KJMZ actually played their single Proceed in regular rotation. I loved that song but didn't hear much else from them until this show. Since then I've bought every record as soon as it came out. Black Thought is my favorite MC. I highly recommend Questlove's book too.
