Summer Sounds on the Piazza : Francoise Atlan & Bahaa Ronda with Mohamed Briouel & L'Orchestre Andalou de Fes, British Library Piazza, London (GB) - Aug 9, 2007

Atlan sang songs from her Sephardic heritage of Andalucía and Morocco and troubadour songs from medieval France. She sang in Ladino, Arabic and Occitan, accompanied by an Andalusian orchestra. Instruments probably were: rbab (two-stringed monophonic fiddle), violin, viola, cello, oud, tetra (small frame drum with copper jingles), darbouka. Impressive.
