International Brigade Commemoration : Billy Bragg, Jubilee Gardens, London (GB) - Jul 21, 2007

Billy Bragg (guitarist/singer) appeared at this commemoration of the International Brigade's role in the Spanish Civil War. He sang the British Battalion's song Jarama together with The Internationale. Billy Bragg does not do the kind of music I really appreciate but he should be honoured for his commitment to the cause and his willingness to perform at an event such as this. Would that more performers had the understanding and willingness to do this kind of thing.
