Anthony Braxton sopranino sax/alto sax/tenor sax/clarinet/flute, Marilyn Crispell piano, Mark Dresser double bass, Gerry Hemingway percussion. Braxton's work is seriously avant garde jazz, very technical, yet it has the drive that most good jazz has. A composer but also a great player. Crispell too is an impressive musician. This concert was reviewed by Steve Lewis in The Wire 23, January 1986.
