First concert at the incredible Gorge Ampitheater in George, WA. Beautiful grass bowl on the edge of the Columbia River. Mathews Band was really tight musically, more of concert for my girlfriend but I liked the early stuff they did, his voice grew to sort of annoy me later. Fun weekend though, stayed at a campground by the bridge over the Columbia River that was run by youngsters, there was a stage where people played music after the concert that night.
