'The Battle Rages On' Tour : Deep Purple, Brixton Academy, London (GB) - Nov 7, 1993

At last I was seeing the mighty Purple, and it seems that I was just in time! This was the first of two nights that Purple would play at Brixton in 1993 and only 5 days later would see the great but temperamental Richie Blackmore quitting the Band with relations strained to breaking point! A great gig although history tells that the 2nd night was better with Blackmore playing up a storm as if trying to make a point. Supported by Storm on both nights, if not certainly on the second night!
