My first ever gig and on my own doorstep too! The 'Do It Yourself' tour. All the speakers at the front of the stage were covered in wallpaper. I ran into Ian in Lexington Street W1 about a year and a half before he died and told him that he was my first gig and he said, 'F*ck, is that the one when I fell over?' R.I.P.
